Hey Guys! I hope you had the most fantastic holiday season and that you had the best new years!! I had a quiet Christmas at home with my family and then a just as quiet New Years Eve/Day! Last year was super stressful and I felt like I needed to have a quiet holiday season to just have some time for myself. That being said, I am super excited about 2018!! I have a couple of fun things planned and I can’t wait to keep on blogging!!
The first thing I do at the start of every year is create a vision board or a goal board for the year ahead! I kind of replaced the traditional new years resolutions for this. That way I can see this board all year long and it works as a reminder of all the fun things I have planned or goals that I want to accomplish. My vision board for this year has a lot of my favourite things including dogs, Disney, makeup, and music! I put Ed Sheeran’s album art on it because my parents surprised me with concert tickets to see him this year! Among that I’m also going to a couple of other concerts, and I am headed off to Florida for a few days next month for my birthday! I think the best part of vision boards are that they’re totally customizable. You make the one that fits you.
This year I also want to stay more organized so this is my new planner for the year. Does anyone else buy a planner and get all excited about it and then two months later its at the bottom of your school bag?
Not me. This year I definitely want to use this more. Its such a cute planner and I found it for like $6 CAD at Winners. Winners saves lives kids.
I also want to take more photos! Fun fact: I got this polaroid camera in the summer and it stayed in the box until Christmas Day because I was too lazy to set it up. That being said, polaroid pictures are super cute and I think they’re an extra special way to remember something as opposed to just a photo on your phone! I am very late to this trend but Polaroids are kind of my obsession right now.
Finally, with this year, I find myself at a crossroads. Over the past couple of months I’ve had various people reach out to me and ask if I were going to start creating youtube videos in the future. Guys I have no idea. I think its a huge compliment to even be asked that sort of question. I have thought about it in the past, but I’m still not quite sure if 2018 will bring Youtube to my life. Its a brand-new platform and it’d bring a lot of adventures but I just can’t decide!
What are your plans for 2018? Are you going to any concerts, festivals, or fun trips??
