Review: BECCA X Chrissy Teigen Glow Palette

So I finally got my hands on the gorgeous new Becca x Chrissy Teigen Glow Palette and I am already super impressed! This palette is gorgeous with its peachy pink tones, perfect for Summer 2017!

This palette retails for $54 CAD and $46 USD – available at Sephora, Ulta, and anywhere that you can purchase Becca cosmetics. I think this is decently priced, as most other highlighter palettes retail for nearly the same thing. Usually, a single Becca pressed highlight costs about $46 CAD, but for $8 more you get 4 colours. Though I personally walked into my local Sephora and it was just sitting there, I’ve heard its sold out once before. This palette comes with four shades: two highlights, a blush, and a bronzer:

-Beach Nectar (highlight)
-Rose Gold (highlight)
-Malibu Soleil (bronzer)
-Hibiscus Bloom (blush)

This palette is absolutely stunning and I really appreciate the fact that these colours work with my skin tone, sometimes thats hard to come by in the makeup world. Becca makes great highlights so I’m absolutely impressed by those. I had low hopes for the blush but I actually really like the way Hibiscus Bloom looks on me. As for the bronzer, I’m not too sure what I’ll use it for as that is almost the same colour as my skin, perhaps as eyeshadow.

-Great colours
-Lovely packaging
-Easy to apply/remove

-Bronzer is too light for my skin tone (but probably perfect
for Chrissy and after all, it is her palette)

Verdict: 4.5/5
This palette is absolutely great if you’re looking to purchase some Summer makeup, or if you’re interested in a new palette. This product is pretty versatile and can be used not only for face makeup, but also as eyeshadows.

  1. i appreciate the fact that you do swatches so much because most swatches online are on pale or fake tanned skin. not there’s anything wrong with fake tanning, it’s just that the undertones are a little different. it’s crazy how different the same color can look on different skin tones.

    1. Thank you so much! Honestly I’ve always had issues finding makeup that works for my skin tone so I definitely want to swatch what I have in case it helps someone else! That bronzer is definitely not a bronzer on me but it is on Chrissy Teigen! Thanks for reading! xx ❤
