Makeup Review: Tartelette Tease

Okay, so I’m trying a little something different.

Recently, being the typical shopper I am, I somehow stumbled into the mall. The Eaton Centre is a place I seem to somehow stumble into quite often, especially in the winter after classes. And somehow, just somehow, I managed to stumble into Sephora. Oh no.

I don’t know what it is about with me and buying makeup- especially makeup I don’t necessarily need. But I purchased yet another eyeshadow palette.

If you know me well, you know I’m obsessed with eyeshadow and that I have far too many palettes but I had to buy another one. I honestly want to say its the packaging that drew me in. Its just soooo summery and cute. What I especially like about this is that the entire thing is the size of a credit card. Which means it’s totally easy to fit in your purse if you’re on the go and have to take it with you.

These colours are just so pretty and simple; I love that about this palette. The colours themselves are very cute and casual but it would be super easy to go from a day look to a night look with this. The eyeshadow applies fairly pigmented but is also very buildable. Below you’ll find some swatches. [I wanted to show how this would look on a different skin tone so I asked a friend to step in!]

Sawyer's Arm
Both of these images contain swatches of the Tartlette Tease Palette. From left to right: whisper, crush, heartbreaker, wink, first kiss, and bff.

AND after doing a little bit of research I’ve found a  few extra  details. This palette is in fact limited edition; so if you want it, get it soon before it goes away! Tarte is a cruelty-free brand and it is dermatologist tested.

Like I said- this is me trying something new. I do love beauty and makeup so if this is something you’d like to see more of, definitely leave a comment below!

Take Care and Keep Smiling! ❤
